About Me

I was born and raised in White Rock, BC, Canada.

I  have an intense love for design, art, history, nature, animals, the well fare of our planet, my friends, family and my cat.

I love to be social, collaborate, laugh, and enjoy life with the people I have in it.

My Story

I have always been passionate about Design, Art, and Interiors. I find inspiration from the world around me, through nature, through art, and through the past, present and future. I am an extremely social and lighthearted person who loves the collaborative experience. Attention to detail has always been my strong suit and it has only grown since I was a child. I started my love of art and design education at Langley Fine Arts Secondary as a Visual Art major and flourished. This exposed me to creative thinking, colour theory, art history, collaboration, critiques, and introduced me to Art Restoration. Upon graduating I moved to LA and worked for an artistry company there for a few years before ultimately making the move to Rome, Italy where I studied Art Restoration, followed up with schooling in London, UK. This experience allowed me to study the local architecture, art, and designs of the masters. I grew an appreciation and love for the principles and elements of design through scale, proportion, symmetry, harmony, and contrast. My time in Rome and London solidified these principles into my mind and lead me to explore a more creative outlet besides restoration. The idea of how to design, the process, and ultimate final product left me wanting to understand these principles even more. Knowing this, I made the move back to Canada where I then started an introduction to design course at VCC. This then led me to the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. This four-year degree was one of most incredible experiences of my life. I was fortunate enough to be within an incredible cohort of inspirational future designers, and that the absolute privilege to learn and befriend the fabulous faculty. Through their tutelage I was exposed to a level of creativity and functionality that I had always aspired to acquire. Those four years flew by and I was so happy to have had that experience and the knowledge it left me with. The ideas of space planning, sustainable and conceptual design became my passions, and creating function through beauty is my motivation.
