This project was designed for a specific person, Spain's Michelin star chef, Albert Adria. Mr Adria's series of restaurants all have a common concept woven throughout, their manipulation of the interior spaces into a magical, surreal environment that reflects the artistry and magic that is put into the meals served at each venue.
Within this project we utilized those same concepts and brought in Albert Adrias love of the Circus into a magical, exciting, surreal interior experience. By creating a space for users to enjoy the delicacy of Alberts food, while experiencing local artists, aerialists, contortionists, etc., all while playing with peoples perceptions of reality within the built environment. The use of shape and form, combined with the sheer volume and scale of the space, we will aim to bring about a sense of illusion and fantasy to those who wish step foot into the mind of a master chef.
